The ‘Magic’ Behind How the Propel System Speeds Up Invisalign Treatment

The ‘Magic’ Behind How the Propel System Speeds Up Invisalign Treatment

Mar 19, 2018

As we countdown to our Invisalign Flash sale on Saturday, March 24th, we’re answering some of your common questions about Invisalign and the Propel System.

Dr. Dunia Korous uses the Propel System to speed up treatment so you can enjoy your new smile sooner.

What is Propel?

Propel is a specially designed dental tool that activates blood flow around your teeth. This activates your body’s natural response to speed up bone adjustment.

How does Propel work?

Using a hand held device, Dr.Korous will perform a series of micro-osteoperforations, or dental dimples. These dimples are what stimulates your body’s natural healing response and accelerate the effects of Invisalign.

This additional procedure may be performed once or at regular intervals throughout your Invisalign treatment, depending on your needs.

Does it hurt?

Dr. Korous uses a local anesthetic to minimize any discomfort during treatment.
